We make calculating the transport fee simple. Adding up a base rate, mileage fees, wait time fees, and additional attendant fees involves calculating the total cost of a service that includes multiple components.
 

Types of Charge

1. Start by determining the base rate, which is the flat fee charged for the service. This cost does not change based on distance traveled or time spent waiting. 

Ambulatory- Base Rate

Weekday Business Hours – $30

Wheelchair – Base Rate

Weekday Business Hours- $40

Stretcher – Base Rate

Weekday Business Hours -$100

2. Next, calculate mileage fees, which are charges based on the number of miles traveled during the service. Multiply the mileage rate by the total number of miles traveled to find the total mileage fee. 

Mileage Fees- $2 per mile

3. Factor in wait time fees, which are charges incurred for time spent waiting for the service to be completed. Multiply the wait time rate by the total amount of time spent waiting to calculate the total wait time fee. 

*Wait-time Fees (per 60 mins)  $30

4. Finally, consider any additional attendant fees that may apply. This could include charges for additional personnel needed for the service. Add these fees to the base rate, mileage fees, and wait time fees to find the total cost of the service.
